The former judge’s chamber is a relic and jewel from the days of the former regional and district court. In order to preserve its impressive aura and stately character, its rich stucco and painted walls and ceiling were deliberately only conserved and not completely restored. Thanks to the sensitive addition of matching lights and the most restrained furnishings possible, it still tells stories from bygone eras.
As a salon, the former judge’s room for cultural events in Düsseldorf’s living room now takes on special functions, for example when a quiet retreat is needed. Small exhibitions can be staged here, press conferences held or VIP receptions organized. But this room is also an excellent venue for private and business events that need to be given a very special touch.
