MUTTER EY CAFÉ

Café Mutter Ey is a tribute to Johanna Ey, who later became known as Mutter Ey, especially in the art scene. Around 1910, she supported aspiring young artists, journalists and musicians. Among them were Otto Dix and Max Ernst. In this spirit, Café Mutter Ey also attaches great importance to art and the promotion of local artists. The café offers home-baked cakes, fresh waffles and delicious lunch dishes.

CAFÉ & ART GALLERY

Just like its namesake Mutter EY during her lifetime, the Mutter EY Café stands for a warm and welcoming culture. This applies to our guests, of course, but especially to up-and-coming artists. The gallery on the 1st floor offers space for changing exhibitions by local creative artists from the Düsseldorf Art Academy. Homemade pastries and cakes harmonize with the fresh coffee specialities. The gallery, café and outdoor area are open to the public, but can be booked exclusively. Events for up to 90 people are possible.
